She was born in Santa Monica in California on 26 November 1986. She is the child of Vincenzo Barba, her father and Valerie Barba. Her family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. As for her education she attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. She continued her education at Catholic University where she earned a bachelor of architecture. She began playing violin when she was four years old, and was referred to as Violin Girl.
