Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American screen and stage actress who is best famous for her role in film as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the series on television The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis, a writer and actress, who is active on stage, in theatre and TV. She began her acting career in theater and later appeared in numerous television programs and both mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character from ABC's Quantico. In the BET's huge series The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only receive critical acclaim in her character but got a handful of awards and nominations. Her professional acting d but was as Ariel, in The Tempest.
