Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born on 27 March 1970 height 5' 9 is an American actress who is known for her character in the role of The Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's television series Lost and also as FBI agents Erica Evans on V. She has starred such films like The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. Gia and The Escape Clause. Mitchell is currently a co-star in the television series of Eric Kripke Revolution and airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both lawyers from Dallas. Mitchell and her mother moved in Dallas Texas in 1970 where the mother of her child got married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts as a high school that is public. It was a magnet school. She is the elder of her three sisters, her two sisters of them being Kristina Kristie Mitchell & Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated at Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a time working at Encore Theater.
